Wolves are interested in West Ham United defender Matthew Upson.

Upson is available on a Bosman as he comes off contract at the Hammers.

The Sunday Mercury says Wolves boss Mick McCarthy is keen on the England international.

McCarthy said: "We bought Premier League footballers last year and that's what we will try and do this year."
