AS Monaco have jumped into the battle for free agent Pepe.

After being released by Besiktas last week, Pepe's agent Jorge Mendes is seeking to place the defender at a new European club.

Wolves have been contacted and been offered the former Real Madrid stopper, but they're not alone.

France Football says Mendes has also put Pepe's signing to new ASM coach Thierry Henry.

For his part, Henry has been assured he will be allowed to make new additions in January.
