Wolves are keen on Manchester City midfielder George Evans.

The Express & Star says Wolves are one of the three Championship clubs looking to hand Walsall loanee Evans his step up to the Championship.

The Manchester City midfielder is with the League One Saddlers until January 9, when his parent club may want him to go up a division.

Burnley and Sheffield Wednesday are also keen on the 20-year-old, who has netted three times in just six appearances since joining Walsall.
