Wolves target homegrown talent

Wolves will continue to go after British and Irish talent says owner Steve Morgan.

The Wolverhampton club have made a few bad signings of foreign players in recent years and Morgan feels it is important to keep bringing in homegrown talent to keep the club moving forward.

"We do seem to have had better success with home-grown British and Irish players. It's probably a formula we will stick to," he told Express & Star.

"That's not to say we won't sign more foreign players. But having that core of a British and Irish base is the right thing for Wolves.

"What we need is one or two key additions, not wholesale changes."
