Wolves, Sunderland told £14M for Birmingham defender Johnson

Birmingham City have slapped a £14 million price-tag on defender Roger Johnson.

The Sun says Wolves are weighing up a £6m bid, but relegated Brum are holding out for more than double as they aim to keep their best players in the Championship next season.

But Bolton, Blackburn and Sunderland are also interested in Johnson, a £5m signing from Cardiff.

They sense they can break Birmingham's resolve over Johnson.
