Wolves striker Vokes looking to repay faith of Burnley's Howe

Burnley loan signing Sam Vokes is keen to repay the faith shown in him by manager Eddie Howe.<> The 22-year old Wales international has joined the Clarets from top flight club Wolves until January and he is looking to produce his best for former Bournemouth teammate Howe.

"Burnley is a very big club and I already knew the staff here having played alongside Eddie Howe and Jason Tindall at Bournemouth, so it was a great move for me personally," Vokes told skysports.com.

"I've not seen much of them this season, but Saturday's performance (2-1 loss to Leeds United) was good and we showed a lot of things going forward.

"I didn't work under Eddie as a manager, but he was assistant there when I left, so it is good to be working with him again."
