Wolves striker Steven Fletcher wants to play for Great Britain in the Olympics.
Coach Stuart Pearce wants the Wolves striker, 24, to be one of his three players over the age of 23.
Fletcher is the Premier League's top Scottish marksman with seven goals.
But Scotland have not considered him after he texted in February saying he did not wish to be picked for the national team.
A source close to Fletcher told The Sun: "Steven's likely to accept the invite.
"Scotland don't seem to want him so why wouldn't he play for the British Olympic side?"
