Kevin Doyle claims his side were on the wrong end of two crucial decisions during the 3-3 home draw with Tottenham. Wolves Republic of Ireland striker feels the outcome would have been even more positive had referee Mark Halsey awarded two vital decisions in their favour.
The official chose not to send off Spurs defender Alan Hutton when he was the last defender after holding back Nenad Milijas inside the six-yard box.
Then Halsey disallowed a Richard Stearman goal for a foul on Spurs keeper Heurelho Gomes when replays suggested there was little wrong with the challenge.
Doyle told Press Association Sport: "I don't like seeing people get sent off but, in the rules of the game, how is it not a sending off (for Hutton)?
"If you deny a goalscoring opportunity, how more obvious has it got to be then two yards out from goal? I think it was a sending off. If the decision had been given, it certainly would have helped towards us getting three points.
"That's the sort of thing we've battled against. I also don't think the goal from the Stearman incident should have been disallowed. I don't know why it was. I thought the referee gave the goal then changed his mind."
