Wolves striker Kevin Doyle is delighted with the plaudits coming his way.

Doyle has been outstanding for Wolves in a lone striker's role since the turn of the year.

"I take all compliments like that with a pinch of salt," insisted Doyle to the Sunday Mercury. "Whatever happens in your career happens.

"I'd obviously love to play for a top four club, every player would, but not every player can because there's only a certain number that can play for clubs like that.

"I'll just look after myself, try and do the best I can and whatever happens in the future happens. But I won't have sleepless nights about it."
