Wolves ace Benik Afobe is staying grounded over January transfer talk.

The former Arsenal junior is a target for Norwich City.

But Afobe told the Express & Star: “In the summer it was strange, I've never had it in my career before.

"You turn on Sky Sports and see your name on breaking news and you've got a game to play the next day, it is difficult when it's the first time.

“But I think I'm going to be more experienced when it comes to January now – it definitely won't affect me. It's a compliment if a team from a higher division is even just inquiring about you.

“There's no suggestion I'll be going anywhere. In football you can never say anything but we've got so many games until January, to be honest I'm not even thinking about next Saturday's game."
