Wolves aren't giving up on winning the race for free agent James McFadden.

McFadden is set to join Celtic for training while talks over a contract offer continue.

He recently spent two weeks training with Wolves, who have not yet given up on landing him.

"We are due to know very quickly," said Molineux chief executive Jez Moxey. "But there is no rush as I don't think he will be fully fit until the end of October."
