Wolves starlets sign on for two-and-a-half-years

Wolves youngsters Zeli Ismail and Liam McAlinden have agreed new two-and-a-half-year contracts with the club. Winger Ismail, 17, has been touted as a future star and has reportedly already attracted admiring glances from the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City.

Striker McAlinden, also 17, meanwhile, joined Wolves at the age of eight and is also highly regarded at the club.

Academy manager Kevin Thelwell said: "Liam is a centre forward who was actually converted from a left-back and has never looked back since.

"He works hard, has a terrific left foot and has scored plenty of goals at youth level.

"Zeli is also an exciting player who is a right winger but can also play on the left.

"He can beat players and cross the ball with quality as well as having the ability to score goals."
