Wolves captain Roger Johnson has called for unity after he and his teammates were continually booed and jeered by home fans on the weekend.
The Wolverhampton club came from two goals down to force a 2-2 draw with Swansea City at the Molineux on Saturday and although there were celebrations after the final whistle, Wolves supporters were extremely negative throughout the match and Johnson simply wants it to stop.
"It's very hostile - we were trying to keep the ball, playing from side to side and we were being booed for it. Some of the shouts I heard were below the belt," he told Express & Star.
"We don't want to hear them and it's not on. The fans have got short memories - they can have a pop at me for saying it, but we don't need that."
