Wolves new boy Bjorn Bergmann Sigurdarson insists he will remain playing with Lillestrom despite signing with the Molineux club.

The 21-year old Icelandic striker is set to join Lillestrom legend Stale Solbakken in Wolverhampton in mid-July after signing a £2.4million deal recently but he is to go against the wishes of his agent Jerry de Koning and continue his duties for the Norwegian outfit.

"I look forward to carrying on playing," said Sigurdarson.

“Jerry thought it would be best if I didn't play, since it's a big contract in Wolverhampton.

"Money doesn't mean so much to me. It's the desire to play in a bigger league that's most important to me. But I know the games mean a lot to LSK.

"I don't think about doing any damage at all. It's not possible to run around and fear injury.

"I have no problem playing the games. I love to play football. I'm going to give everything for the LSK in the games I play."
