Stoke City winger Jermaine Pennant insists there's no rift with manager Tony Pulis.

The troubled winger, 29, admits being stunned the Stoke chief is willing to allow his switch to the Championship side for the next three months.

But he dismissed the notion he is being exiled because of a bust-up.

He said on Twitter: "The gaffa said I can go out on loan to get some games!

"I was shocked and I can promise we have not fell out. But I gotta play."
