Former Hull City defender Steven Mouyokolo says he is keen to settle quickly at new club Wolves.

Mouyokolo, who moved from Hull, is relishing the challenges ahead as Wolves prepare for their opening match of the 2010/2011 Premier League campaign at home to Stoke on August 14.

"I have signed for many years here and need to settle in and adapt which I will try to do as soon as possible," the 23-year-old said.

"I think I will, and it is good to have the pre-season because that is important to make sure I am ready for the first game.

"I am here involved with the squad and will do my best to be in the starting 11. It will be good to be here working with Mick McCarthy and the other players who have done very well over the last couple of seasons.

"So it will be tough to win a place in the team, but I will just give my best and work as I hard as I can."
