Wolves have beaten Real Madrid to the signing of Valencia striker Rafa Mir.
Real were confident of wrapping up a deal for Mir this week, with the youngster having been in Madrid before Christmas.
Marca says after rejecting a €500,000 bid from Real for Mir, Valencia have accepted a €2 million offer from Wolves.
Having made his Champions League and Copa Del Rey debut under Wolves coach Nuno Espirito Santo at Valencia, the deal going through will see the pair reunite.
Wolves currently lead the Championship by nine points and Mir could well be playing Premier League football next season.
