Wolves have pulled back from talks with Liverpool for Paul Konchesky.
The Express & Star says it is understood the Reds are ready to let Konchesky leave Anfield for a fraction of the £3.5million they paid Fulham last summer, so he can kickstart his career again.
The 30-year-old is also ready to take a drop on his estimated £40,000-a-week wages to make himself more affordable to clubs.
But Wolves, who unveiled £5million Jamie O'Hara as their first summer signing today, want to strengthen the centre of the defence and goalkeeping departments first before they splash out on a left-back.
