Wolves chairman Jez Moxey insists the club will fight as hard as they can to keep hold of their top players this summer.
The likes of Steven Fletcher and Matt Jarvis are being linked with a Molineux departure following the clubs relegation to the Championship but Moxey says he will not let any stars leave for under the odds as they look to bounce straight back to the Premier League.
"Because of the strict fiscal policies we have implemented over the years, we're in a strong position to call the shots and not for someone else to call them because of third-party pressures.
"We have not got a bank saying 'you need to reduce your overheads.'
"We have not got a third party club saying 'we know you are in the mire - we will help you by buying so-and-so but, obviously, at a discount rate.'
"None of that will be happening here because of the clear strategy we have put in place. Nobody will leave this football club unless it's at the right price for Wolves.""We're prepared for the fight," he told Express & Star.
