Wolves plan to bid for Tottenham's O'Hara

Wolves boss Mick McCarthy is moving for Tottenham midfielder Jamie O'Hara.

The Mirror says O'Hara is back at Spurs and awaiting a further move after his loan spell with Portsmouth ended because they were banned to keep him on due to their financial problems.

However the Premier League do not allow players to have three clubs in one season as they adhere strictly to a FIFA regulation - and O'Hara will have to get special permission.

O'Hara does not want to be stuck on the fringes at White Hart Lane and Harry Redknapp is prepared to send him on loan or even sell him if the offer is right, so it is a major test case.

If O'Hara is allowed to move there could be further interest in him with Owen Coyle's Bolton Wanderers and Roy Hodgson's Fulham also keen on the skillful star.
