Wolves midfielder O'Hara says McCarthy kept squad united during form slump

Wolves midfielder Jamie O'Hara has hailed manager Mick McCarthy for the way he handled their form slump.

O'Hara is full of praise for the way McCarthy has refused to panic and kept the players bonded together during lean times on the pitch.

He said: "The gaffer has been different class with everyone. He's settled everyone down and we've tried to keep it relaxed in training and have not too much pressure on the boys.

"We've gone go-karting as a team and tried to relax as a team because you need to.

"It's a long season and we've got to stick together as a club and there is a great team spirit.

"Team bonding is massive. You are going to have a row and the boys are going to get on each other's backs because we want the best out of each other.

"You are going to have that in football but we are all good friends and there is a good team spirit in the camp - and that especially has kept the club up for the past three seasons."
