Wolves midfielder O'Hara plays down QPR claims

Jamie O'Hara has denied claims that he is set to leave Wolves for QPR.

Reports have suggested that the 26-year old former Tottenham midfielder was to return to London with the relegated R's keen to lure him from Wolverhampton.

O'Hara was supposed to have played in a bounce match for QPR on Saturday but he says that is pure speculation.

"I have had so many text messages and phone calls about it. The rumour that I was there on trial was not true - I was out with my kids at the time," he told Express & Star.

"Nothing has happened - I'm just training hard and keeping my head down.

"There are a few clubs interested but nothing has materialised, then this rumour about me playing for QPR came out of the blue."

O'Hara is, however, on the search for a new club after being told by new Wolves boss Kenny Jackett he does not feature in his plans.
