Jamie O'Hara has hit out at Wolves fans barracking teammate Karl Henry.
O'Hara has leapt to the defence of Wolves' Henry whose substitution was cheered at Molineux.
The £5m midfielder claimed the supporters' reaction to Henry's number being held up was "shocking" after Mick McCarthy's team slipped to their fourth successive league defeat to Newcastle United.
O'Hara was clearly upset as he wrote on his twitter account: "Thought it was shocking that the fans cheered Karl off today. A player that gives everything deserves better from our fans.
"It's a long season and the fans should get behind the team. We are still improving and that takes time.
"When they got behind us we were good and created chances. Come on Wolves' fans, we need your support. It doesn't do anyone any good booing us."
