Sky Sports suggests that Wolves have made enquiries regarding Reading manager Brian McDermott.
The Molineux outfit are still searching for a new boss after sacking Mick McCarthy last weekend and the latest is that they are keen on the Royals gaffer.
McDermott has been at the helm at Madejski Stadium since December 2009 after taking over from Brendan Rodgers whose Swansea City side beat Reading in the Championship play-off final last season.
Wolves are also being linked with former Sunderland manager Steve Bruce after initial targets Alan Curbishley pulled out of the race and Neil Warnock took the Leeds United job.
