Wolves loan defender Elokobi to Notts Forest

Wolves defender George Elokobi has joined Championship Nottingham Forest on an emergency loan.

However there is a 24-hour recall clause which can come into operation at any time after the first 28 days of the loan.

The Cameroon-defender has made eight Premier League appearances this season, five of which have come from the substitutes' bench, and is hoping to use the loan to push for some regular football.

Wolves boss Mick McCarthy said: "This loan move gives George the chance to go out and try and get some games. We've got all of our defenders back fit now and this should give George an opportunity to play."
