Wolves legend Steve Bull hopes Matt Jarvis gets a start for England tonight against Wales.
Bull, 45, was the last player from the club to represent the national team, 20 years ago.
But Jarvis, 24, can take that record if he gets on the field against Wales today or against Ghana on Tuesday.
Bull said: "He's predominantly a right-footer who plays on the left but he has the ability to go both ways.
"He can deliver pinpoint crosses on either foot and when you look at the likes of Peter Crouch or Andy Carroll being in the centre, that could be a real weapon.
"Jarvis works so hard, going forward and defending and he fully deserves his call."
