Wolves legend Steve Bull has backed chairman Steve Morgan over his dressing room rant after defeat to Liverpool.

It caused a row with manager Mick McCarthy.

But Bull told the Sunday Mirror: "If you run a business, whether it is a ­football club or a factory, if you can't go on the shop floor and say certain things there is something wrong.

"Does it undermine the ­manager? Maybe, but I don't think it does. Steve Morgan employs the ­manager, he employs the team and the staff at Molineux.

"He is entitled to voice what he thinks."
