Wolves keeper Hennessey not letting blunder worry him

Wolves goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey says he will not let the weekend's error faze him.

The Wales international had an exceptional game against Manchester City up until the 52nd minute when his poor clearance cannoned into Sergio Aguero and into the path of Edin Dzeko who gratefully accepted for the opening goal.

That goal led to a 3-1 win for City, with Hennessey also gifting Aleksandar Kolarov a second, but he insists he will not be worried by the initial blunder.

"I thought I'd done quite well up until the goal but then it was a mistake," he told Express & Star.

"Kicking is one of my strengths and it's never happened to me before.

"I was feeling good with the saves I'd made in the first half. I know on another day I would just whack the ball clear.

"I was disappointed with it but I won't let it bother me."
