American veteran stopper Marcus Hahnemann insists he has come to Molineux not only to help young keeper Wayne Hennessey but also challenge him for the No 1 shirt. "When I came to the team the gaffer told me Wayne is No 1," the Seattle-born stopper told the Birmingham Mail.
"But he needs my experience as well to hopefully guide him through because it is going to be a tough year this year.
"I don't want to sit on the bench, I want to play. I told Wayne 'look, I am coming here to play'.
"But if I am not playing I am not going to throw my toys out of the pram. I am going to help him and Carl Ikeme and Matt Murray, whenever I can."
