Wolves keen to re-sign Celtic fullback Naylor

Wolves want to bring Celtic fullback Lee Naylor back to Molineux for their Premiership return.

The Daily Mail says Naylor, who played almost 300 games for the club before heading north three seasons ago, is on a list of experienced targets. Forced to play a raft of players at left-back following a long-term knee injury to first-choice George Elokobi this season, manager Mick McCarthy last night refused to comment on any interest in Naylor.

Celtic are understood to be keen to offload a player who wants to return south - but have so far been hampered by a lack of solid interest.

Naylor's valuation may also cause a problem, with the Parkhead club seeking around £1.5million for a player who has featured regularly in the Champions League since signing for a third of that figure three years ago.
