Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers have partnered with Dublin-based digital media publisher Fantom to launch an online sticker album, reports SportBusiness. Replicating the popular playground game of collecting football stickers, the album, which launched on Wolves' Facebook page on Friday, invites fans to collect and swap Wolves-themed digital 'stickers' in return for rewards.
Fantom has already partnered with QPR and Derby County to release a similar app.
"Wolves are a big club with an amazing history, and we are delighted that they want to use our app to further the brand's online efforts," said Fantom chief executive Paul Healy.
Wolves' marketing manager Laura Price added: "The Fantom app is an inventive new way for us to engage fans via social media and drive ticket sales and attendances."
