Wolves winger Stephen Hunt hopes the weekend's 1-0 win over Birmingham City can help the team get a favourable result against West Bromwich Albion this Sunday.
The Republic of Ireland midfielder scored the only goal at The Molineux to down the Blues and now hopes that showing can assist the young Wolves squad to produce a win in the first Black Country derby since the 1983/84 season.
"It was a massive win and the young lads are buzzing," Hunt said of the Birmingham triumph.
"Birmingham are a good team and hopefully this will give us a lift going into the West Brom game.
"We have to crack on now and get our season going. I'm led to believe it's the biggest game of the season. I saw the reception (former West Brom striker) Lee Hughes got here (playing for Notts County earlier this season), it should be fun. It will be a good derby game."
