Wolves are chasing Aston Villa defender Richard Dunne.
The Mirror says Dunne, Aston Villa's Republic of Ireland central defender, is wanted by Wolves.
Wolves manager Mick McCarthy, formerly boss of the Irish national side, wants to bring in an experienced central defender this summer.
McCarthy is a long-time admirer of 31-year-old Dunne, and handed him his international debut against Greece in April 2000.
