Wolves are regarded as favourites for Stoke City midfielder Glenn Whelan.

Whelan has admitted he wants to leave the Potters for regular first team football.

The Sun says Whelan, 26, will snub West Bromwich Albion and Newcastle United to join Wolves in a £1.2m deal.
