Wolves eager to land new striker

Wolves are in the market for a new striker.

Chief executive Jez Moxey is remaining tight-lipped on targets but distanced the club from speculation linking free agent Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink and Aston Villa’s Emile Heskey.

“It’s a ‘no’ on those two,” Moxey told the Express & Star. “There probably won’t be any developments until tomorrow, if anything at all. But we’re still working on a possible incoming deal.”
