Wolves' Doyle out to improve his record against Tottenham

Kevin Doyle has had a nice time of it against Tottenham recently and he hopes that form continues for Wolves on the weekend.

The Republic of Ireland international scored twice in the 3-3 draw at the Molineux in March following his winner at White Hart Lane in December 2009 which added to his goal for Reading against Spurs in 2006.

Doyle admits he does enjoying playing against the North Londoners and just hopes he can contribute to another positive result for Wolves who have started the 2011/12 Premier League season without a loss.

"I've enjoyed playing against Spurs," he told the Birmingham Mail.

"We've done well against them since we've been in the league and came back to get a good result in the game here last year.

"They've got a great squad and have brought in Scott Parker and (Emmanuel) Adebayor as well so we know how difficult it is going to be.

"I'm not reading anything into their results and they've played against the top two teams in the league. They'll be wanting to come to us after the international break and get their season underway but hopefully we can delay that by another week."
