Wolves determined to find buyers for fringe players

Wolves are determined to clearout a raft of fringe players.

Andrew Surman has joined Norwich City for £500,000 in the last 24 hours, with Chris Iwelumo moving to Burnley in a similar deal.

The Express & Star says Wayne Hennessey, Greg Halford, Matt Hill, Stefan Maierhofer and Andy Keogh could be on their way.

Chief executive Jez Moxey said: "We've got to work at getting some players out - we've got a few out and I'm sure we'll get a few more out of the door.

"We've got January to think about and we can only play 25 players.

"We can supplement with Under-21 players, but I think Mick is very satisfied with the way the team is shaping up."
