Richard Stearman says no-one is talking the 'R'' word at Wolves.
Wolves again lost on Saturday 3-2 to Bolton Wanderers.
Local lad Stearman, whose dad Paul works at Wolverhampton brewery Banks, said: "The table doesn't look good for us, but it's not a fair reflection on how we've been playing.
"We are definitely playing better football than we did last season. We all think it's just a matter of time given the way we are playing before our performances bring the points the team deserves.
"Nobody has mentioned the word relegation in our dressing room - the spirit in this squad is huge, and we will fight our corner. We almost salvaged something from 3-0 down and we are not going to let our heads drop.
"We've proved before how well we can bounce back. Look at the Manchester City game. We went one down but we fought for our lives and picked up the win."
