Barnsley have swooped for Wolves defender Matt Hill on an emergency one-month loan deal. Tykes boss Mark Robins moved for Hill after losing Jay McEveley to a knee injury in Tuesday's defeat by Burnley.
Hill has found himself out of the picture at Wolves and the former Preston man is not even in Mick McCarthy's 25-man Premier League squad.
"Matt is an experienced Championship defender and that is what we need at the moment following Jay McEveley's injury," Robins told the club's official website.
"I am delighted to have brought him to the club."
