Wolves defender Craddock happy to avoid celebrity lifestyle

Wolves defender Jody Craddock is happy with his low-key profile.

The former Sunderland star is happiest at home with wife Shelley and the kids - or up in his loft studio painting anything from landscapes to Muhammad Ali, Audrey Hepburn or Cristiano Ronaldo.

Craddock told the Daily Star: "The life that the big stars lead is a completely different one to me. I'm a family man and just do normal things like any other person.

"I have done well out of football and yet I have still kept my identity. I don't get pestered all the time or get hounded.

"I don't think I would enjoy that. Nightclubbing and stuff like that is just not my style.

"There's nothing about the way some top players live their life in the spotlight that appeals to me - mind you, £170,000 a week would be nice!"
