Wolves defender Berra convinced game improving with Premiership action

Wolves defender Christoph Berra is convinced his game is rapidly improving by playing in the Premiership.

The former Hearts captain said: "There is no doubt that it's harder to be a defender in the Premiership.

"You're playing against strikers who cost £25million or £30m every week. Every team is full of quality players. Some teams can even bring £30m strikers off the bench.

"It's not called the best league in the world for nothing.

"And it's only going to improve me because every week I'm playing teams with so many quality players."
