Bobby Mimms is delighted to be returning to Blackburn Rovers as new goalkeeper coach.

"It is with mixed emotions that I am leaving Molineux after seven enjoyable years with Wolverhampton Wanderers," Mimms told wolves.co.uk. "But the opportunity to return to Blackburn Rovers, one of my former clubs was too great to resist.

"I had some great times there and still have friends in the area and there are also people at the club that I know - both newly appointed, and those who have been there since my playing days with them. That will hopefully make the move a smooth one."

Mimms is regarded as one of the best goalkeeper coaches in the country after his work at Molineux.
