Wolves chief Moxey won't driven out by fans

Wolves chief Jez Moxey insists he won't be forced out following their relegation.

Moxey, who has been at Wolves for 12 years, quashed the speculation and said he has no plans to leave the club.

"I'm sure I will be at Molineux at the start of next season, hopefully with a team competitive enough to win promotion," Moxey told the Express & Star.

"I'm aware of the speculation about my future but the rumours are untrue.

"While no one wants to receive negative comments from fans, it comes with the territory and I accept that's the job I've got.

"In football, someone has to be blamed and held to account and although it's not what I'd want, I take it on the chin. I am big enough, ugly enough and experienced enough to know what happens. For me, it's not a big deal.

"It's better me getting stick than the players."
