Championship Wolves are chasing Guinea's answer to former Tottenham and Newcastle United star Chris Waddle.

The Express & Star says Belgian sources state a bid is being prepared for Guinea international Idrissa Sylla, a gangly but skilful centre-forward playing for Zulte Waregem.

His contract expires this summer after joining in 2013 from Le Mans in France, where he was been dubbed 'the new Chris Waddle.'

Waddle remains an icon in France after his time with Olympique Marseille.
