Wolves chairman Steve Morgan has cancelled his winter hols so he can make their Boxing Day clash at Liverpool.
Morgan left Liverpool in acrimonious circumstances and told Wolves' website there was no way he was going to miss an Anfield return.
"It was the one match I was looking forward to most of all and I'm slightly disappointed it's on Boxing Day because I was scheduled to go away for a few days over Christmas," Morgan said.
"That's gone by the wayside now and we'll be staying here for the match which I'm really looking forward to, just like going to Old Trafford or the Emirates and other places.
"I had a board meeting on the morning the fixtures came out and I told them to interrupt me at one minute past 10 for a planned 'comfort break' as soon as the fixtures came out because I couldn't wait!
"I'm pleased with our start to the season. December looks a little bit tough but we've got to play the big teams some time, so we really just can't wait to get at it."
