Wolves chairman Morgan eager to secure Doyle to new deal

Wolves chairman Steve Morgan is confident securing striker Kevin Doyle to a new contract.

The 27-year-old has admirers throughout the Premier League and across Europe, and many believe manager Mick McCarthy pulled off a real coup in attracting Doyle from Reading in 2009.

Morgan told the Express & Star: "I'm sure we'll have those conversations with Kevin and his agent at the right time.

"Again, Kevin has been a fantastic signing for this club and is a really, really key player for us.

"We'd like to secure his services going forward."
