Wolves have snapped up released West Ham United striker Frank Nouble.

New Wolves boss Stale Solbakken is delighted to have brought the former Chelsea youngster on board, with the club readying themselves for a promotion push in the Championship.

"Frank is a player that our scouts have been watching," he told the club's official website.

"We think he has qualities that we can develop, and with his physical strength and power I feel that he can help us.

"He should be a useful acquisition to the squad and it is a good opportunity for him to come to a stable club and work hard.

"I think there is a win-win situation for both the club and the player. He is a young guy and he can add to his potential every week."
