Wolves boss Stale Solbakken is delighted with their deal for Stoke City winger Jermaine Pennant.

Pennant has arrived on an initial three-month loan from Stoke.

"There will be many ups and downs over the next few months but hopefully now we have a player in on loan, we can play people in their best positions most of the time, and we can get players back fit again," said Solbakken.

"Hopefully we can build further on the training pitch so we can get better.

"It's nice that we have progress - that's the most important thing."
