Wolverhampton Wanderders have rejected advances from Everton for their manager Nuno Espirito Santo.
Nuno has performed admirably since being appointed as manager of Wolves during the summer.
His club are in line to be promoted to the Premier League next summer and lead the Championship standings after taking 35 points from 16 games.
The Toffees have been without a manager since parting ways with Ronald Koeman following their defeat to Arsenal last month.
They have so far suffered disappointment in their search for a new boss as Watford rejected their advances for manager Marco Silva, while former England and West Ham boss Sam Allardyce appears to no longer be interested.
