Wolves boss McCarthy: Tottenham's Redknapp tough enough for England job

Wolves boss Mick McCarthy has backed Tottenham's Harry Redknapp for England.

He reckons it is a no-brainer for the FA to appoint Redknapp as national manager given his Tottenham record.

McCarthy said: "If ever there's a guy at the top of his game, it's Harry.

"With all the stuff he's been through, he must be as tough as an old boot.

"He has EVERYTHING he needs to manage England.

"But I hate going with public opinion... so I'll say Kevin Keegan!"
